Best Indoor Plants That Won’t Die

Caring for a plant can be hard work. You forget to water it for a few days and its dead (maybe you shouldn’t be in charge of children)! However, just because you don’t have a green thumb, doesn’t mean you should skip out on adding greenery into your living area. Here is a quick look at three plants that can survive with little care.

Pothos: this plant has air purifying qualifies and could act as a wonderful centerpiece for a side table. The Pothos also require little care to survive and does well in normal room temperatures.

Spider plant: the spider plant has a wonderful look with long leaves that will add a pop of color into your living space. The plants prefer medium to bright sunlight. So place them on a windowsill and watch the plant grow.

Rubber tree: this plant can grow up to eight feet tall and add a huge pop of color and nature into your apartment. The plant also thrives best when its soil is allowed to dry out between watering.

Westminster Bars: Where To Watch the Olympics

The Olympics are finally here. And beside watching the events on a TV or online, NBC will also be offering 100 hours of events in virtual reality. Man, don’t we live in an amazing time. So if you have a Samsung VR set, this year’s Olympics may be the most interactive event around. However, for those of us regular folk who do not have a VR set, the best way to cheer on the American athletes might be over a beer at a sports bar. Here is a quick list of three great locations that will be showing Olympic events near your apartment.

How to Decorate an Ocean Inspired Bathroom

Life can get busy and most people do not get to enjoy the summer like they really should. The next best thing, however, is to decorate your apartment with a summery vibe so you can at least feel like its summer once you get home. Here are a few quick tips.

Colors: most landlords do not let their tenants paint, so in order to get that pop of ocean-inspired color you will have to use your accent pieces and bathroom décor.

Use woods: put up a wood framed mirror or other wood accessories to make your bathroom get that ocean vibe.

Rope: rope is a huge part of being out on the ocean. Buy some nautical rope and use it as a décor piece on one of the walls in your bathroom. The white will contrast perfectly with the blues and green you’ll already have in the area.
